my niece jill @jillociraptor and i were walking towards the union station when we saw this chopper hovering over the bridge. it was picking up what looked like square thingies (yes, thingies) and i would imagine it weights really heavy. it would drop off the thingie somewhere behind that building then would come into view again with its empty thether to pick another (yes) thingie. i took several shots but i like this best for the presence of that passing jet plane on the upper left.
this morning, we bade our poignant goodbyes as our photo meet up comes to a close. i had to visit my brother and his family who live in carol stream west of where junko lives and the DD and family i think are jetting it over to rhode island where @walrus lives. junko herself is copenhagen-bound for a conference.
we would be meeting again, i am sure, as chicago is a goldmine of photo opportunities and we merely put a dent on them. until next time, my good friends.
Your meet up had to be so wonderful and fun. Memories galore I know. Those crane helicopters do amazing things, perfect precision is required since they are surrounded by tall buildings on all sides. This is a great capture, I too like that jet.
