the student comes in, looking around. she's not sure if she's in the right library, but the portrait of the headmistress seems about right.
student: "excuse me, madame, am i in the right library?"
madame: "oh, lord! it's the smart snot me from 45 years ago." (rolls eyes and gives the student a once over.) "oui, mais ici parlons francais seulement," says she.
student: (looks away and makes a face) "gheez! what a pretentious so-and-so. but i'm afraid i'm not in toronto anymore!"
