reflection

at the end of the memoir writing course i took last winter, the facilitator who is also our minister and who loves making crafts, gave each of us a bird. we were to choose the one we liked from a selection displayed on the discussion table. we were to choose the bird that reflected our personality or which reminded us of something significant.

i could not readily identify one that is a reflection of my personality but i chose this one, which i've been dying to covet since day one of the course. i guess it's the colour green as it is supposed to be my lucky colour; but that shade of green to me is just soothing.

the prompt today for the canon 30-day challenge is "reflection". i know, i could've thought of a brilliant title but my mind does not want to deviate from "reflection" as it's been on my head for days now.
