white on white

my white on white skills are off tonight. in fact if i don't take care, my phojo just might take a holiday for a long time. but i've done twenty shots and i'm still not getting it right so the best of the lot for today will be it.

for week 10 of the 52 captures, the theme this week is the pesky white on white. i will try again tomorrow if there is enough day light and i'm not too busy. we'll nail it down, don't you worry. even if i abstain from having ice cream for the week. 😂 🤣

@grammyn - i couldn't get the lighting to behave no matter what i do that's why it comes out greyish. the other ones are horribly blue-greyish.

This is very pretty and for me a lovely white on white. There is no reason to punish yourself and not eat ice-cream

This is really nice and the whites are definitely white.
So many shades of white - just go into a paint store and see how hard it is to choose a white!
I plan on doing this one today using snow - so much easier, lol!!

This is pretty. The white on white is well done. The round shape is very clear. The floral design on the top of the object is pretty as well.

had you not heard of 50 shades of white? Ice cream is one of them - it might inspire you. Not that there is anything wrong with the shot you got here. The white plate stands out really well on the white background. Job done.
