there was another firework display tonight across the street at the manor. they are always busy in there, so many parties, so many events, and mostly they do fireworks. but i noticed that the fireworks aren't fancy. i've watched a canada fireworks about 10years ago and the display was stunning. there were so many colours and figures that were spectacular, like the canadian flag or a 'flower garden' with the flowers slowly opening up. i've also seen so many times dancing fireworks, bursting in rhythm with a classical or modern music. i guess that costs more money, and a bigger field to make that display. oh, well.
by the way, yesterday's abstract, that's the back of my left hand. i noticed the loose skin in my arms and hands and when i flexed my fingers, i was disgusted with the wrinkly skin. then i remembered i'm already old so that had to be expected. 🤣 i keep forgetting i'm an old person. isn't that terrible?
i broke my diet today, i had a slice of cake! my sister wanted me to bring some home for later but i declined. because we know what's going to happen to that cake if i had taken it home. but the cake was light and fluffy and not so sweet, but of course because it is cake it's definitely loaded with sugar. bad vikki!
When the next fireworsk display is on, go out in the balcony and shout to them: you are too poor to buy a proper fireworks show? :) :)

I like the way you captured this. I have never bought any proper fireworks in my whole life, not even when the children were still around. They used to get sparklers and that was all. I always felt it a waste of money where there are so many needy people in the world.
Its a great burst of fireworks! I don't like looking at the back of my hands either - seems to be a lot of blue snakes slithering all over! No money now for great fireworks... good that we can remember!
I envy you the opportunity to take fireworks photos whenever there is an event across the way! This one has some color to it and lots of motion!
Angel food cake, if you have to indulge, has the least amount of sugar! It’s a good way to break your diet every now and then without feeling terribly guilty!
As for the back of our hands! I am learning to embrace the beauty in old age! If we focus on the positive parts of it there is still lots to love
Geez, I hope I’m not gonna get fixated on the back of my hand after reading this! Thankfully you’ve posted something interesting I can refocus my attention on. Looking closer at it after reading Kathy’s @randystreat comment. How can cake be bad for you when it tastes so good? Not logically possible. Go ahead and indulge.
