the leaves on the bush on the right has really turned deep red but continues to fall off the branches. its vivid colour eclipses the poor showing of the slow changing colours of the maple leaves in the background. there are trees around the apartment buildings that are now entirely bereft of their leaves, but right beside them is one with full leaves half turning colours and half green still. with the warmer temperatures in october that are continuing in to november, the trees and plants must be terribly confused. humans, too. the city has not been removing the leaves in parks and sidewalks. that would be a problem if the snow comes as it would make walking rather difficult.
our high today was 17 celcius. i pray we don't get a true winter as i really wouldn't know where i should walk when it snows. in preparation though, i bought myself a pair of walking poles which i yet have to open the box.
today, i am half a pound lighter than the last three weeks.
The amount of walking that you are doing seems to be paying off for you personally and for us photographically! You have found some wonderful things to photograph while on your walks. The Colors in this one are gorgeous
How vivid the leaves look. I admire your persistence. Have you thought about YouTube videos. I've been doing short walks to build up my endurance and strengthen my legs. Leslie Sansone has some (free).
