the morning i took this, i was waiting for the grocery to open. outside, near its entrance, were hundreds of Christmas planters that made for waiting quite pleasant and fun. the prices of these planters are not fun, though. a decorated planter about two feet high costs $82! if i buy the huge pot for 15, the rest will be foraged from the trails or parks. then the ribbons and the Christmas ball from the dollar store will cost a dollar and a half. i wouldn't pay no more than $15 for it. bah humbug!
$82 seems to be a huge amount of money for something that only last for a few weeks but then I guess it depends on your priorities. I like your plan much better. However it has given you a beautiful photo for the day. I like the close-up detail of the pinecones and the combination of colors
I like your POV. I agree. That's too much to pay for something that's not going to grow and potentially thrive. But, they will sell. For those who don't scavenge in the woods and fell they are "artsy craftsy."
