a supposed to have been a quick trip to the salon turned out to be a full day outing. since i have no plans to leave the abode tomorrow i then did my banking, went to the market to get my nuts and buy fruits. then i was so hungry i called my sister and we had lunch. then since i am already downtown, i thought i might as well make the walk to the union station and re-shoot this for this week's 52 frames.
i was so disappointed to find that american express has all these banners and billboards all over this beautiful walkway. far cry from when i shot this in november! https://365project.org/summerfield/365-still/2022-11-12 with that big billboard there, the archway at the end is therefore not visible. i wanted to scream!
and that dampened my artistic desire and decided to just go home and weep!
Love the symmetry and lines. Ads have become so pervasive that I didn’t even notice them and had to look back. I wish you and your family happiness and health in 2023.
LOL I am so used to cloning out what I don't like now, I would have erased them even if it took 2 hours. Take that American Express! It's still a great view even with the ugly advertising.
