i was on top of the bridge at the third quarter end of my walk when i heard loud and heavy scratching. i looked down at the train track and saw nobody there, although i noted that there were new fencing around the tracks, possibly to keep unscrupulous people who are out on a mischief or stealing the metals attached to the tracks. as i went past the post holding this sign, the noise became louder. i looked up and saw this man hard at work at removing the holiday poster/ad, the equivalent of four storeys of a building.
tagging this for the first week's challenge of "in my backyard" of the brand new 52 captures challenge. while this is not exactly in my backyard, and as i live on the 22nd floor of a high rise, i do not have a backyard and this is in my immediate neighbourhood. that's my story and i'm sticking to it.
tagging this, too, for the current scenes of the road challenge.
The whole billboard is fascinating to look at. Not only is the man up there, by himself, in the cold, but his ladder is up there, hanging up there. Phew! Not for me but well spotted Vikki.
The colors are terrific and I like the textures. I think we should celebrate the “behind the scenes” workers that keep our lifestyle moving forward. A nice tribute Vicki.
