who dunnit????

on my way home from the farmers' market this afternoon, i came across this poor little dead bird on the sidewalk. i had no idea how long it's been there and thankfully the damned pigeons who were in the vicinity weren't feasting on him. i had to say a little prayer for the poor mite.
