The bees were busy and weren't phased by landing upside down on flowers which were bending towards the ground.
The flower is probably from the Asteraceae family, the same as the gold flower I posted a few days ago. The two of them are very similar but different colours and are from gardens that are a half hour in opposite directions from our house. As before, if anyone can narrow it down as to genus/variety/common name, whatever, that'd be great!
We were both on the same page today. I posted a sunflower with a bee and the girl explained to me that the bees actually get 'drunk' on substance they get from the flowers and generally will stay there for 30 minutes or so and then fly a little further away until they gather their composure.
Great Shot Anne!
