Look way down, about 120 meters down and you'll see hundreds of lily pads, probably thousands. I'm sure there's some blooms to go with them --- would have loved to have had a closer look at them but we didn't go near them in our walk. This Eagle's Nest area is part of the Madawaska Highlands. The trail that we were on is part of a series of paths along a cliff and is considered sacred ground by the local native population. It's about a half hour from home.
@mwarren365 yes, mike, i should have mentioned, the green trees are for the most part, evergreens. most of the leaves are starting to turn or have already fallen. It was like a summer day here today but the leaves were falling almost like rain drops. Many thanks for your support ... love your thoughtful comments.
