Just beside the swings [see yesterday's pic] is this giant, three story play structure. It's a super place to play, then cool off in the river, then go back and play again.
On the back side of the structure that you can't see, there's a climbing wall and a ladder-like tower of feet. I'll post a great view of the huge slide in my keeper album. This facility is especially impressive if you consider just how small our township actually is, in terms of population and business. Lots of trees and water, not that many people! lol
Magnify to see the smile! ;-)
Many thanks for dropping by. I'm slowly catching up on all your pics. I appreciate that you all stick with me even tho the past couple of weeks have been less than ideal for me to keep up with my commenting. I'm getting there!
@buccigrossi@carmichaelbev@lauriehiggins you guys make me laugh out loud! maybe i'll try it out after dusk some night! ;-)
Laurie, yes the girl on the sand running is our granddaughter. She's a hot blooded 4 year old, warming up after a few dunks in the river. Before that she navigated the boat to the boat launch and paddled while we lined it up to get it onto the trailer. It actually went on VERY smoothly!
I'm glad you got to spend some of the Thanksgiving weekend with your grandchildren. They are lucky to have grandparents who are so involved in their lives.
