We visited our grandson on holiday Monday and while others were toiling over the preparations for an amazing Thanksgiving dinner, I was wandering the property, looking for something interesting to capture "on film". Turkey was not on the mind of this little guy, rather it was the fuchsia! Fuchsia are one of my favourite annuals, and hands down, ladybugs are my favourite insect. This pic was meant to be.
You outdid yourself on this one Anne! It's awesome and even more so to catch a great shot like this one. Had to laugh that you were outside there with your camera. Typical 365er!!
@falcon11 thanks allison! i'd love to hear about silo. nothing fancy here at all. it's the original background of brown leaves and grey siding. using the zoom with the macro setting blurs the background. i darkened it a bit.
you should've gone and bought a lottery ticket :-) holy macro, anne! love the little hairs on the flower. i love lady bugs. they're my favourite insect, too!
Simply perfection, Anne! And how pleased were you with that watermark/signature? I share your love of fuchsias and lady bugs! My grandmother always had at least one fuchsia and I read a book I adored years ago called "Fifty Acres and a Poodle" (I think) that cemented my love for ladybugs. This one was an instant fave.
Great capture & lovely colours :)
