The Jays and Squirrels don't have free run of the sunflower seeds anymore, Kala [7 month old pup] guards the seeds for the little birds. Very funny! The Jays get their turn when she comes in the house.

Love this Jay! We put up a couple new feeders at Christmas and haven't seen any birds since :(. Our neighbour asked us if we were seeing birds because he said they aren't either.
Oh, what a beauty! I actually love blue jays and the ones around here are actually quite mannerly when they do come around. There's a pair that lives on the next block and they chatter all the time imitating the hawks....so funny. Anyway this is a fav for me!
