Despite the difference in size the Evening Grosbeaks and American Goldfinches share the seeds very well. I saw a Redpoll yesterday so I"m hoping to get a pic of him soon.

At first glance, I thought that it was Dad with baby! Thanks again for setting me straight about birds. And they eat the same kind of seed . . so cute together. Wonderful shot, Anne.
I'm still catching up on your older photos, Anne, and I'm so glad I saw this one. It really shows the differences (especially in size!) between two birds that look so similar to me - or at least they used to until I saw this.
