Tree Locked by sunnygreenwood

Tree Locked

I've had my eye on this ancient truck since I started 365. It's about 20 km from home, near one of our breakfast spots. There always seems to be something blocking a shot --- too many leaves on the trees, a bus or truck parked in front of it, or ... snow! Hopefully a spring shot before the leaves are out will show just how the trees have grown up around it. It would have to be removed in pieces now.

Many thanks for dropping by.
nice shot, interesting!

Cool shot. Love it.

Great find. It would make for a perfect HDR shot in the Summer. Wonder what it looks like from the other side?

@mwarren365 funny thing is that you wouldn't even know it was there in the summer, due to all the leaves on the bushes around the trees. It's very over grown. i'll try again when the snow is gone ... maybe even sneaking around to the other side - definitely private property tho. I'm a big chicken. This view is taken from the road. ;-)

Funny what we find. If you trespass and get arrested...we'll all bail you out. :-)

That is amazing. The trees are quite large. It must have been there a long time. Great find. I'm amazed you can get around with all that snow.

So beautiful buried in snow!

How 'bout that! What a fun, eclectic photo. You should enter it in a photo contest. It's exactly the kind of photo that would win.

Beautiful catch, Anne! Love it in the snow like this. Pretty soon you can just call it an art sculpture. The more it ages, the better it will look. :)

Well it is always good to keep vintage things like this covered, but I'm afraid snow is not a good idea. lol

Funny how something is always there! I'm looking forward to a spring shot - without the truck! (or at least the bushes blocking the truck!:) ) The snow around the trunks us beautiful, though!

That is one way to keep your vehicle safe from theft! Interesting find...wonder too what the story on this Ford truck is?

Don't you love how the different seasons bring such different views of things? This is awesome, Anne! There'a an abandoned minivan in the woods near my mom's house. It's half buried from flooding, and so interesting.
