Kala has enough energy to keep both Poppa and our grandson busy. The path we're on is part of an 800+ acre [300+ hectare], provincially owned park managed by an adjacent tree farm. We walked for about 45 minutes and only saw one other person and her dog. I love the outdoor opportunities our country has to offer.
Beautiful shot. They look like theyre having a great time. Love walks like that in nature. Can't believe the snow and we've had none all winter. So strange.
Although it's cold, this lovely scene portrays such a warm family moment. Looks like a magical place to bundle up and take a walk through winter wonderland.
@vernabeth awe, thanks Beth! Funny you should think of our clothes. We were commenting on just that, later in the restaurant! Poppa didn't wear a jacket that day, just the hoodie that he would wear around, inside the house. He had work boots on. Our grandson was rolling around on the ice [looks like snow but it's pretty much all ice] wrestling Kala for the ball and he only had light jeans on. His socks were soaking wet. Seems we're determined to make winter short this year, one way or the other!
Lovely winter walk thro those trees, the close up really shows their beauty. Nice family photo and your dog is just waiting for that ball to be thrown.
Beautiful pic, Anne! It would be wonderful to have this winter wonderland to yourself. I can't believe how much Kala has grown! I remember the first pic you posted of her. :0)
Lovely shot, can't believe you can walk for that long without seeing anyone...that would be very cool, looks like you guys are having an awesome time :)
