The falling snow doesn't seem to slow the little birds like the Pine Siskins down at all. I was hoping we wouldn't get another blast of stormy weather this winter but I guess that was pretty unrealistic.

Fabulous clarity on his little eye and I love the capture of the snow in the background! My friend (who is an avid bird photohrapher) was researching whether or not birds get cold the other day, because she was feeling sorry for them. Turns out they do, but only their feet, which is why you'll quite often see them hunkered down in cold weather, covering their feet as much as possible with their little feathers. Anyways, I found that interesting, hopefully you do as well, lol
