It was a record breaking 24C [75F] here today - a great day but not so much in the photography dept so you get this little shot of the shamrock plant in bloom. I should have thought to check it yesterday.
Very pretty! I love the variegation in the center of the petals. Hope the weather holds! I believe I still have your e-mail from before - if there is time and you'd like, maybe we can meet up.
Great shot. I have green and purple one in my flower garden. I like them because they stay in bloom all year round down here. They never don't have flowers.
I was given a shamrock by a student...the flowers are so teensy. Are yours? Or are these some bigger version? This is a great shot...my pics of my plant were not.
@espyetta thanks marybeth! the flowers are pretty small! i t's interesting to hear about people having them outside year round. the plant seems so fragile, i can't imagine it surviving a heavy rain so I don't even put mine out with the rest of the plants in the summer, but i think i'll try it this year.
I'm used the basic green clover, not these lovely shamrocks. The colors are amazing. I'm not sure I knew they could be red like that. Thanks for sharing.
