I had a problem with my laptop and had to make a trip to the nearest Apple Store to get it fixed. Thankfully they fixed it while we had supper so we didn't have to make the trip twice.
On the walk back from the restaurant, we stopped to enjoy the view of the Rideau Canal from a foot bridge near the University of Ottawa. The Apple Store is in a downtown mall near the tall building in the centre of the pic.
Coincidently, we were in that area at almost the same time last year and I posted this pic of the same section of canal, only from the opposite end looking up the canal to the foot bridge we were on this year. http://365project.org/sunnygreenwood/365/2011-06-18
The canal was built over a 6 year period from 1826 to 1832 and is the longest continuously operating canal in North America. [202 km long, 49 locks, connecting Kingston and Ottawa]
