The Beaver Dam

I've posted numerous pics of this beaver dam in different seasons. It's interesting in spring because the water below the dam is so deep and fast, as the ice melts and is carried away. It's a huge dam, stretching across the water pictured here and in addition, the water pictured two days ago with the heron in the tree line.

How cool.I have never seen a beaver dam. It seems all kinds of northern hemisphere animals are popping up on 365 at the moment! Must be Spring.
