Although I've never seen a robin in the dead of winter, some do stick around our area all season. I learned today from the Cornell birding site that they eat different things, depending on the time of day --- worms in the morning and berries in the afternoon. Berries with bugs in them are a bonus!
That's neat to know. I see them do a lot of "listening" for worms but only occasionally finding one! Glad to know they have a supplement. Love the shot.
