I thought I'd post another pic of the view up-river. Again, it's not b&w, just a grey day. This shot gives a full view of the left over supports from the old bridge. They're a popular place for many kids to play in the summer. There's a ladder on the end of a couple of them to allow them to climb to the top to jump off or just sit in the sun.
@mebswartz yup, you got it! having said that, there's always lots of people around so the risks are minimal. the boats stick to the far left, leaving the little cove on the right for the swimmers.
