Some of you wanted to see this http://365project.org/susale/365/2013-07-25 in colours. I thought that the green was not very interesting, so I wanted to wait till I could catch some of the autumn´s colours for you. and of course I had to wait the water to be calm too, this is the sea so it seldon is this calm.
The composition is a bit centered and I prefer the other one in that respect but I didn´t want to use the same kind of composition and I wanted to show you some more of this place this time.
Really lovely Susa. The colour of the trees and the red of the house are great together. I don't find the placing of the house too central, it kind of goes well with the symmetry of the woods and their perfect reflection. All together, a fav for me!
Ohh !! I really can't decide which I like best ..... the reflections are fab in both but I do love that pop of red against them autumn colours..... mmmmm :-)
red vs green is very effective, and the reflections double the impact. I like the centered composition idea, but you could've gone all the way with it - the shoreline exactly in the middle of the shot vertically & the house exactly in the middle horizontally. This might be just my OCD talking though :-) BTW, strict centered comps and mirroring both imply symmetry --> square crop works very well, since the frame will be symmetrical too.
@janim Joo I see what you mean, will do that next time...or something more like that at least, since I´m not plessed with the gift of OCD, I really don´t know can I get everything exactly on their right place ;-) Kiitos!!
