One of the things I love about Michigan is that you are never more than 100 or so miles from any of the Great Lakes. We live about 50 miles from Lake Michigan, and the roads are clear this weekend,so we took a trip out. The ice isn't as heavy or far out from the shoreline as it has been other times that we've been there, but it's interesting to see how it gets pushed up from the waves
