We passed this row of cottages when we were in Cornwall, driving from the Eden Project back to the hotel. The following day I persuaded Chris to drive back the same way so that I could take a photo. There were 6 cottages but unfortunately on the second day a car was parked outside at one end and there were 2 traffic cones in the middle so I tried to be clever to avoid both.
Today was a dull drizzly day so I thought I'd use a Cornwall photo.
The chimneys almost look too big for the cottages . Really unusual sizing .... good shot with the palm tree contrasted against the grey stone ! An unusual image ,
Yes, like sentry boxes ..such chunky chimneys - former or current estate cottages? They look in very good nick. Wonder where they were - precisely Sue? Really nice shot and well done concealing street furniture.
@claireuk@virtualbrownie@yogisue@lynne53@pamelaclarke Thank you for your comments. I wondered if they were Almshouses. It wasn't appropriate to go looking around for a plaque or anything to say what they were and I would love to see them from the back. Pamela, they're on the road to Fowey from St Austell.
