These premature twins are the smallest lambs I've ever seen. They belong to our friends just down the lane from us and they were born 2 days ago. They're the first I've seen around here but there'll be hundreds soon. The early ones are often in sheds to start with.
I was very disappointed with my photography today. I clearly wasn't using my new camera properly. I must spend a bit of time looking at the photos and trying to establish what I was doing wrong. The light/flash wasn't right and neither was the focusing. Luckily I put my trusty little canon in my pocket as I was leaving the house and took a couple with that. This is one of them
@foxes37 When they stood up they wee so skinny with spindly legs that seemed far too long for their bodies. I resisted the temptation to pick them up and cuddle them.
Oh so jealous, I have seen some lambs at a distance but nothing close up; I do hope they are ok and thrive. Is this a brand new camera to you? It can take a while, I used auto for a good long while and then started copying the settings and worked from there. I did use a slr in the 1980's but digital was a whole new ball game! :0) You will do it but maybe just not overnight:0)
It takes a while to get used to a new camera - I'm fairly technical but manuals make me glaze over. You will soon be firing on all cylinders.
