.......not to be confused with the Wood Mouse on 12th June. Bank Voles have a very short tale unlike mice which have long tales. This makes them easy to tell apart. This little chap lives in the bank opposite the kitchen window. I took the photo through the unopened window. Another one for the 'Kilsby Birds and Other Wildlife' Album
@chimfa No, I just saw him while I was washing up, took my rubber gloves off, grabbed my camera (which is never very far away) and took a few snaps through the glass. Then he disappeared into his hole in the bank.
@dizzyd Thank you Helen. I see this little chap a lot but have never been able to get a picture outside. He's so quick when he hears a noise. This one taken through the glass isn't too bad though. Thanks for the fav.
