Early Morning Moon

I wasn't fully awake when I took this shot at 6.20 this morning when I first came downstairs but I felt I had to grab my camera (which is never very far away!) and take a picture anyway.

Your moon 's great - much better than mine. I'll have to keep practising - I'm trying to learn how to use manual settings on my camera. Love the colour too.

@nickspicsnz Thanks Nick. It's all a bit hit and miss (and a lot of luck) when I take pictures like this on automatic. I really must get to grips with the manual settings, and the tripod which I got for Christmas. I've just been out this morning ( 06.15 a.m.06/02/15) taking pictures of the full moon but they're not very good. I'll try again when it gets a bit lighter.
