Leaving it a bit late......

This is one of a few new dahlias we bought this year. It's grown into a strong healthy plant but this is the first flower and its the 3rd October!!! There are quite a few more buds so I hope they open out.

I'm going away for a few days tomorrow but my camera will never be far away and I'll keep posting.

Lovely. All the dahlias have been dug up at Anglesey Abbey, so your dahlia is late. Mind you they were out in early July here which is early.
