A Good Thing We Weren't Any Earlier!!

This is just a mile from our house on the way to the village. This huge Horse Chestnut tree clearly suffered in last night's strong winds. We were off shopping and although it was quite early we were later than we intended to be. I think that was probably a good thing. Someone had obviously been busy clearing the road.

@barneyone It must have been a very noisy, windy night judging by all the fallen trees and debris everywhere but I didn't hear a thing!

Looks nasty..... one disadvantage to having to use country roads !! How come the road sign is in English & not reading Araf ?? Well documented though Sue.

@susiemc Yes Helen, it does say Araf as well. I've been driving up and down this road for 16 years but I still had to check!
