Landscape Challenge Day 3 The River Wye at Builth Wells
I took this photo yesterday while I was out and about taking a picture for Challenge Day 2. I knew I wouldn't have the car today and my dodgy hip prevents me from walking very far.
This stretch of the river Wye is very close to the town. The river Irfon is coming in from the left into what's known as the Junction Pool. It's very popular with fisherman. That isn't Mr C fishing on the far bank but it could easily be.
My 3 landscape photos were supposed to show the Welsh hills for Beryl but they've been obscured by the fog and mist on days 2 and 3. Sorry Beryl, I did my best.
No worries Sue --I have thoroughly enjoyed your landscape -- funnily enough I am watching A TV Prog on the river Severn and the Wye called "Rivers by Griff Rhys - Jones " on BBC 2 at the moment so I am very much in tune with your river scene You have captured a lovely tranquil river scene .Sorry to hear you are suffering with your hip !! tae care !
@beryl Thank you Beryl, I'm pleased you've enjoyed my landscapes. Thank you also for your concern re my hip. I should be having a replacement mid March but now I'm yold it will be mid May at the earliest. In the meantime I just get on and make the best of it.
