Before long the garden will be full of primroses but this is the first one. It's yet another sign that spring isn't far away but when I was walking round the garden this afternoon it was bitterly cold and very grey and not at all like spring. This little primrose is trying its best however so I thought I should take it's photo.
The little flower does look wet and cold (if a flower can look cold !! ) I had to go to my neighbour's garden for my daffodil -- mine are only in a bud stage and will be for another few weeks -- unless they have a spurt !
@chimfa Thank you Jane. It's not the best example of a primrose but because it's the first I've seen in the garden it had to be photographed. I envy you your 20 degrees!
