The First Daffodils by susiemc

The First Daffodils

I've seen quite a few daffodils further afield where spring arrives a little earlier but these are the first in our garden. I've been keeping a close eye on them and decided that today was the day for that first photo. There will be many more I'm sure

I've got a little bit behind because I've been quite busy. I shall enjoy looking at all your photos and catching up. Thank you for all your comments, which I very much enjoy reading, and Fav's. It's all very much appreciated.
The first but always the most beautiful !

It has been an odd spring here. Some daffodils were out in December (early) but most are only now coming out.

@beryl @oldjosh @aglennc @nickspicsnz @alinz @dizzyd @gilbertwood @virtualbrownie @happysnaps @foxes37 @craig3f2 @susie1205 @chimfa @g3xbm Thank you for all your lovely comments. There's something a bit special about the first daffodils of the year. I hope our friends in the Southern Hemisphere will enjoy our photos as we go into spring and summer when they're heading for autumn and winter.
