Thank you Sue , I am sure you had a lovely day out and what a beautiful scenery , The blue of the water echoing in the distant craggy hills . A lovely scenic view and a fav for me !
@gilbertwood It's an area of reservoirs about 30 minutes from where I live in Mid Wales. These reservoirs were constructed by the Victorians to supply Birmingham with water. If you google Elan Valley Wales UK you'll be able to find out more. Although it is reservoirs and not natural lakes it is nevertheless a very beautiful area and well known for birds and other wildlife. The area is owned by Welsh Water and they do a good job looking after it. It's great for walking and cycling and there's a good children's playground and cafe. I have posted photos of this place before: 2/02/14, 5/02/14, 6/02/14, 17/02/14, 18/02/14, 28/05/14, 28/10/14, 18/02/15. It's one of my favourite places close by.
@susiemc Thanks for that wealth of information Sue :) i will certainly google it and look at your pictures - it's great to find out exactly where some of these beautiful places are that come onto 365 when you live on the other side of the world :) Thanks.
