This Camelia is about 9 feet tall. It was in the garden when we came here 16 years ago but it has never flowered. Imagine my surprise when I walked past it this afternoon and found 2 flowers!!. It is in a part of the garden which until recently was very overgrown. We've had some trees taken down and now there's much more light getting through. Chris and I got very excited, sad individuals that we are! You can actually see one of the flowers on the big picture but it's not easy.
Terrific! I'm guessing the bit of light helped it! So now more light, less weeds and maybe a little feed later, you may be rewarded with many more next year :) oh and also, they don't mind a trim either!
