I've been waiting 11 months for a new hip and finally it's my turn.
I'm not looking forward to the next few weeks but after that it will be wonderful to be able to walk comfortably again and be pain free.
I won't be going far for a while so subject matter for my photos will be limited but it's the best time of year for birds and flowers in the garden.
I'll be back in a few days and I am taking my little camera with me!
Time to go.
Good for you. l I've had both of my hips done, and life if good again (also both knees). Recuperation, at least for me, was a breeze both times...... Hope yours goes as easily. Keep us posted..... Thinking of you.
Good luck Sue........I hope it all goes well & over the next few weeks you get less & less pain! It can make a tremendous difference to your life! No B&B for you then for a while! Harry is five weeks since his new knee.....slowly getting better but the pain hasn't got to the stage when it's less than it was before he had it if you know what I mean!
I hope the operation goes well, I have worked in Sheltered housing and quite a lot of residents had hip replacements, many of them even a couple of weeks after the operation were feeling the benefit. I be think & praying for you
