Twn Sion Cati was born around 1530 in Tregaron. He was a kind of Welsh Robin Hood, roaming Mid and West Wales robbing the rich but forgetting to give to the poor. He often hid from his arch enemy the Sheriff of Carmarthen in this cave on the densely wooded Dinas Hill, now the Dinas RSPB reserve.
It was a steep climb up to the cave. Emily and Oscar loved it and Granny did well to keep up!
