I don't know what these are, I've never seen them before. They were at a Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve. The whole plant was beautiful but the individual flowers were especially beautiful.
We're now back home after our lovely holiday but I still have plenty more pictures to post.
Great collage of a beautiful plant. @oldjosh I agree with Margaret, that this is a species of Erbascum, common name Mullein. I would also go with Verbascum nigrum, but not sure either.
