Principality House in The Botanical Gardens

The National Botanical garden of Wales was developed on the site of The Middleton Estate, the centrepiece of which was Middleton Hall, a very fine mansion built in 1790. What is now Principality House was once the servants quarters, brew house, laundry and kitchens. It was the only part of the mansion to survive when a fire destroyed the rest in 1931. The estate then fell into decline until it was eventually bought by Carmarthenshire Council. The Garden opened to the public in 2000. Principality House has many large halls and is used for conferences.

After taking all those photos and doing all those collages while the children were here I'm all photo'd out and I haven't taken many during the last week or so.
Looks like a great restoration.

This looks a pretty impressive building for the servants quarters - I wonder what the rest of the Hall looked like. I'm sad I never got a chance to go to the National Botanical Garden when I lived in Wales. I'm not surprised you're a bit photo'd out - you've been very busy for a while now.
