There's a small part of this huge garden which is my responsibility. Mr C does the rest. My bit (which seems quite large to me actually) has been sadly neglected and had become very overgrown. It needed some attention and today was the day. I started at about 10.00 a.m. and worked until 4.15 p.m by which time it was getting dark. The weather was beautiful and I really enjoyed my day. I took a 'before' photo before I started but I couldn't quite get the collage I wanted so tomorrow morning I'll take another photo and do a 'before' and 'after' post
@beryl@cherrymartina@brennieb Thank you ladies. I do love my pink wheelbarrow and accessories. The good thing is they're always there when I want to use them because Chris doesn't borrow them!
@happypat When we moved here it this bit was a very overgrown with semi wild rhododendrons, holly and other various shrubs/trees etc.I wanted it to look nice because it's the first bit of garden that you see when you come to the house. Chris agreed to clear it but said it was 'my' garden and I had to look after it because he had plenty to do looking after the rest.
happysnaps @oldjosh@foxes37 Thank you ladies for your lovely comments. If Chris had taken the photos later in the day when I was ready to pack up I wouldn't have looked so happy. I was exhausted. You're right Margaret, I should get some pink wellies. I'd like that.
