A New Neighbour

There are usually sheep in the field below our house but this afternoon I heard cows. I went out to check, with my camera of course, and there were lots of them down at the bottom of the field. I zoomed in on this one and noticed the shiny ring in his nose!! I was thankful for the distance between us and also the sturdy fence. They look like Welsh Blacks, renowned for their high quality beef.
It was raining and quite dark and the bull was a long way off (thankfully) so the quality of the image isn't great.
wow. yes definite one to keep your distance from . hes a very big bull. but very beautiful in his way.. being a farmer daughter !

What a magnificent beast - I wouldn't want to come face to face with this in a field! 😊
