Goodbye Kilsby

I did have mixed feelings on the day of the move but in fact by this stage Kilsby wasn't home, our home was in three big vans. My eyes did water a bit as I went down the drive for the last time.
always bit emotional.

Great pic ...Moving can be physically and emotionally draining, but how wonderful to be moving on to a new chapter of life, and to have years of pics for happy memories.

Moving can be traumatic & after so long....You will both settle well in your new home. Tears come when big changes happen, so many memories.

Sad in one way but exciting in another. I felt the same as I left the UK for Australia. Still the best move we ever made though and 28 years later still no regrets.

I understand that feeling of leaving. I had the same feeling 14 years ago as we walked out of our home of 33 years -- Our kids had grown up there. So many memories. New memories can be made in a new home too..... and wlll be for you. Congratulations on you new abode..

@brennieb @dsp2 @happypat @happysnaps @onewing @aglennc @nickspicsnz As Babs says, sad but exciting at the same time. It was time to move on. There are things I miss but less and less as I get used to our new life. I’m definitely getting to love our new house.
