Amaryllis Day 1

I always like to be given an amaryllis for Christmas. It's fascinating watching them grow.

A lovely gift. A friend of ours, when we lived in Cyprus, called her daughter Amaryllis. I love the flower, but I am not so sure I would want it as my name.
