On Friday my neighbours came in for coffee and brought these lovely daffodils for me. They were in tight buds so I put them in the cool utility room while we were away and since we came back they've opened out beautifully.
Such a lovely sight - simply like to see a decent bunch of daffs sitting nicely in a vase -- unfortunately they do not live too long in water . I will buy a bunch or two for the house , but will never cut my own from the garden !
I love daffodils at this time of year, a vase on a table & you think Spring is round the corner! I'm having visitors for lunch tomorrow I would be very pleased if they brought me some!
how lovely. You are lucky to have nice neighbours too. I must admit even though it will be 41c here tomorrow I am not ready for summer to end just yet.
