Day 1 Year 7 !! Me with my Oldest Friend Lis @foxes37
Exactly six years ago today Chris and I were traveling to Suffolk for a two week holiday in a cottage there. Lis had kindly invited us to stop and have lunch with her and Rog as we would be passing nearby. While we were there, Lis introduced me to 365. I have a lot to thank her for.
Lis is a very special person, we met in September 1961 when we started our second year at Barnsley Girls High School. We were 12 years old, we're now 70 years old. We meet up as often as we can but in between we stay in touch via 365. I love to see photos of Lis and Rog's family, especially their grandchildren.
Well, this year we're on our way to Norfolk and we're staying with Lis and Rog for 2 nights. There will be a lot of sharing of memories and looking at old photos of our school days.
Thank you Lis, you mean a lot to me.
We really enjoyed your visit, Sue. It was lovely to catch up with my oldest friend and stroll down Memory Lane and reminisce about those very special days in the swinging sixties. A wonderful couple of days.
