According to Mr Google this is one of the finest stately homes in Norfolk. We disn't go inside the house, we just paid to into the walled garden (for those of you in the UK who get Gardener's World magazine we used the 2 for 1 offer) and to walk around the park.
There's an exhibition of Henry Moore sculptures on during the summer and that's one of his sculptures on the lawn in front of the house. I don't really get Henry Moore's sculptures. Perhaps I'm just a bit of a philistine.
I really think that sculpture looks completely out of place on the front lawn....might be a great work of art but in the wrong place! I must be a philistine too!
@mave No it isn’t, unfortunately, and it is quite expensive. You can pay to just go in the gardens and park. That’s what we did but we have a Gardeners World two for the price of one ticket which we used which meant it cost us £6.00 each.
