My friend Nicola and I visited this National Trust property today. It's in South Wales, not too far from Cardiff. It was a dull day and not a good time of year to visit gardens, added to which a lot of restoration work is being carried out in both the house and the gardens. It was very interesting, nevetheless, and both have tremendous potential. We're keen to make a return visit in the spring
