By no stretch of the imagination could Hereforsdshire be considered to be tropical. However, I was watching 'Gardeners World' recently and one of the presenters said if you want to add a tropical touch to your garden plant Cannas!
We bought two plants two years ago and planted them in big pots. They've done incredibly well and each spring Chris splits them. We now have 6 and we gave 2 to our neighbour. They're not frost hardy and we're now running out of places to keep them over the winter. They really are beautiful though and I do think they add a tropical touch.
Woh, those colors are on fire. What a combination. Beautiful plant. Cannas, I Have to look into this. We donât have frost, but we deal with the heat.
